We charge the rates that UPS, Fedex and the USPS charge us. Shippers charge based on the dimensions and not the actual weight. Redidential delivery is also more expensive with UPS and Fedex. Many of our clear cello products (bags and rolls) are considered safe for food contact. If you need compliance information, we can supply this to you on an item by item basis. Shred , whether paper, film or tissue does not carry any direct food contact compliance. All shreds are considered a decorative component of the finished product by the manufacturers. Waxed tissue and paper shred is recommended for any food item that contains a skin or is traditionally washed or cleaned prior to use such as fruit.
Flat Cello Bag - Usually a bag should be twice the diameter of the item to be bagged. i.e-9" round basket fits into an 18" width bag. The height of the items to be packaged determine the height of the bag needed. Shrink Bag - You will need 2 dimensions for this bag, width and height. To determine bag width= circumference (add front+2 sides+back) multiplied by 1.1 and divided by 2. bag height= height circumference (add front+bottom+back) divided by 2. Remember to add 4 to 6 inches to the height of the bag if you are gathering and tying off the top of the bag.
Custom blending can be done on higher voume orders. Up to 3 colors can be blended. Custom blending minimums vary from convertor to convertor, so call for specific requirements.
